Age / Price Policy
Adults: 17+
Children: 4-16 (3 and under are free)
A responsible adult (aged 16 years +) will go into the water to accompany all children under the age of 8 years of age. Whilst in the pool the adult is responsible for those children and should maintain a constant watch over the them, maintaining close contact at all times.
Cirencester Open Air Swimming Pool Adult to Child Ratios:
For 4-7 year olds : 1 adult may accompany up to 3 children
For children aged 3 years and younger: 1 adult and up to 2 children
Lifeguards cannot replace the care and attention of parents and carers. Therefore, the purpose of the Child Admissions Policy is to help safeguard children who are most at risk of drowning. Cirencester Open Air Swimming Pool ask all users to adhere to this policy. It is not intended to prevent children and families from having fun, nor is it intended to make life difficult for parents and carers.
Additionally, please be aware that due to Health and Safety legislation, all pools should have a Child Admissions Policy. However, this policy may vary amongst pools as a result of the variation in the size, depth and physical features of each pool.
Concessions*: Senior citizens and full time students aged 21 and under with valid photo student union card.
Spectators*: Please note if you are acompanying a child under 8 you need to be swimming and not enter as a spectator.
Youth Evening (Friday 7.00-9.00pm- ages 10-17) - £1.00
Group discount 10-card swim rate for groups of 10 or more (pre-booking preferred which allows us to ensure lifeguard cover at busy times).

- £20 deposit secures booking. Remainder payable on the night.

- 50% deposit required 2 weeks in advance
- The general public will always be given 2 weeks notice of any planned closure for a private group
- The cost allows for the pool to be closed to the public 15 minutes before private time to allow public bathers to change and leave – Members of the private group should not enter the changing rooms until the start of the agreed session. This should prevent complaints from members of the public.
